The 42nd year Caribana parade is a sea of colourful floats, and about 15000 party participants took part in the parade, dressed in spectacular, shiny and colourful costumes. Beautiful costumes filled the parade and each group had matching outfits. Some walked on tall stilts while others wore multi-coloured body makeup, all of them dancing down Lakeshore Boulevard along the edge of Lake Ontario in Toronto, on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009.
